Centralized Surveillance Display Integration
The Challenge
The primary challenge was installing 12 ANPR cameras at elevated locations across IIT Jodhpur while ensuring proper camera positioning, height, and line of sight. Conventional wired connectivity was not feasible for the designated locations, making cable routing a major constraint. The project required a reliable alternative using TP-Link point-to-point wireless devices, along with Dahua PoE networking, custom pole-mounted rack structures, and Samsung display integration to establish a coordinated surveillance infrastructure.
Our Solution
FIX DADDY implemented an AI-powered ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) surveillance solution at IIT Jodhpur, featuring 12 elevated ANPR cameras installed on 12 pole-mounted rack structures. The cameras use AI-based number plate recognition capabilities to support automated vehicle identification and intelligent traffic monitoring. TP-Link point-to-point wireless devices were deployed to establish connectivity where conventional cabling was not feasible due to height and line-of-sight constraints. Dahua PoE networking equipment supported camera connectivity, while a Samsung display enabled centralized surveillance monitoring. By combining AI-enabled ANPR technology, elevated mounting infrastructure, wireless networking, and display integration, FIX DADDY delivered a customized security solution designed to address challenging site conditions and streamline vehicle monitoring operations.
